Kanye West, Childish Gambino and Justin Timberlake Are Rumored to Headline Coachella 2019
This year’s Coachella lineup featured The Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Eminem as the headliners however next year’s top three slots could be just as solid. According to HITS Daily Double, a reliable source has informed them that Kanye West, Childish Gambino and Justin Timberlake will headline the festival in 2019, with Gambino on Friday, Timberlake on Saturday, and Kanye on Sunday.
If you remember around Winter of last year, it leaked that Eminem and The Weeknd were going to headline Coachella 2018 with Beyoncé. That rumor turned out to be true when the official lineup was shared months later. It was the first Coachella in its 19-year history without a rock headliner.
Donald Glover — who recently injured his foot while on tour — stated that he is working on his last project as Childish Gambino album. The release date for the LP is tentatively later this year so it would be perfect timing to perform at Coachella in 2019. Timberlake made his comeback earlier this year with his Man Of The WoodsLP plus has a ton of hits in his catalogue for fans to enjoy.
Lastly, Kanye will be coming off dropping three new albums in 2018 assuming Yandhi comes out on Black Friday (Nov. 23) as planned. He hasn’t headlined Coachella since 2011, which he did alongside Kings Of Leon, Arcade Fire, and the Strokes.
