Cartoon Network Set to Open Its First Resort Hotel

Looking to move beyond its television offerings, Cartoon Network recently announced plans to open its first resort-style hotel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Launching a new partnership with Palace Entertainment, the nine-acre establishment will be centered around key characters from CN shows like Adventure Time, We Bare Bears and The Powerpuff Girls. The resort hotel is set to feature 165 rooms, an interactive lobby, outdoor and indoor pools, water play zone, outdoor amphitheater, lawn games, fire pits, game rooms and play areas. In a press release, Cartoon Network President Christina Miller stated, “with just the right mix of technology, design and animation, we’re aiming to bring our characters to life in a way that we haven’t seen done before.”

Cartoon Network’s first resort-style hotel is expected to open sometime in 2019.
