“You Belong to the City”, Quoted by an early artist called Jigga aka HOV aka JAY Z. New Orleans mayor LaToya Cantrell ‘surprised’ Jay-Z and Beyonce with “a key to the city” on Monday September 17th, 2018. Checkout   the mayor’s Instagram post, whom assist quoted “to highlight both his and Beyonce’s collective humanitarian work.”

The post shows of the 4:44 rapper in a simple tee-shirt and jeans as he received the framed key from the mayor. Jay Z rocked  a gold chain around his neck, his look complete with a maroon cap on backward

This brings back memories of just last month, when the Mayor of the City of Columbia, Steve Benjamin, presented the rapper with the key to the city, apart from also naming August 21 as the Beyonce Knowles-Carter and Shawn Carter day in the city.

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s OTRII tour is scheduled to end the coming month on October 4.
