Wednesday evening September 19th 2018 The father of NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers Richard Jefferson was killed in a drive by shooting in Compton, California. Richard Jefferson Sr. was one of three men standing outside a local liquor store when a car pulled up and opened fire. Jefferson Sr. was hit in the torso several times before being transported to a local hospital where the 65-year-old was pronounced dead.
