Drake and Meek Mill End Beef With Suprise Performance LIVE
On his second stop in the city for his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour. During his set, Drake brought out Meek Mill for a surprise performance of his 2012 ”Dreams and Nightmares’ track, officially putting their ongoing beef to rest. Since 2015 Drake and Meek have been in a feud after Meek Mill spoke upon ghostwriting allegations about Drake at their 2015 collaboration “R.I.C.O.” Pusha-T later rehashed those allegations on his Daytona track “Infrared” which snowballed into its own back and forth.
4 Days After Pusha T dropped “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T alleges that the rumor that Drake had a child named Adonis with French model Sophie Brussaux is true, calling Drake a “deadbeat” who is “hiding a child”. Kanye West publicly apologized to Drake about the track’s content. Drake would go on to confirm his son’s existence in the album Scorpion, released June 29, 2018. However; On last year’s Boy Meets World Tour, Drake showed his support for Meek in face of the Philadelphia rapper’s controversial November 2017 prison sentence.
Drake dedicated the concert to the Late Mac Miller, who died on Friday. “Tonight, I want to dedicate this show to my late friend Mac Miller,” he told the crowd. After Drake and Meek Mill’s onstage reunion, both artists took to Instagram to share their thoughts on the event. Drake referred to it as “One of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career,” Meek also wrote “WE BOTH HAPPY AS SHITTT!” There is also footage of Drake and Meek playing ping-pong together after the show.
