Carrying multiple phones for personal and business uses might be over for Verizon Wireless users. The company announced today that they will be launching an app that allows users to add up to four additional numbers to one smartphone. The app is called My Numbers, and it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. It’s an additional $15 a month per number, but thats cheaper than purchasing a second, third, or even fourth phone. The app sets up separate voicemail and text messaging boxes for the different numbers as well.

there are other apps such as Burne, Flyp, and google voice that have relieved some of the stress of business and personal phones dilemma. This is one of the first efforts from a major carrier, in 2016 TMobile launched a similar app called digits thats allowed customers to use up to five numbers on their device. Using multiple numbers in the US has been difficult, you would need multiple SIM cards in order to use different numbers. Most devices in the US don’t carry more then one SIM slot .

The my numbers app is now available for all version users.
