Tracee Ellis Ross To Return As The Host Of The 2018 American Music Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross will be returning as the host of the American Music Awards for the second year in a row. According to Billboard, aside from serving as the show’s host, Ross will also serve as an executive producer for this year’s award show. She took to social media to announce the news and said, “SO NICE, I’M DOING IT TWICE.”

Ross’ hosting duties last year were even more special because he mother Diana Ross was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Aside from keeping the crowd laughing at last year’s show, Ross also treated the AMA stage as her own personal runway as she donned multiple outfits that were the talk of the night.

The nominations for this year’s award show will be announced on September 12th with the help of Kane Brown, Ella Mai, Normani and Bebe Rexha.

The 2018 American Music Awards will air on October 9th on ABC.
