Tekashi69 Pleads Not Guilty In Racketeering Case
So it looks like Tekashi69 won’t be coming home anytime soon. The rapper appeared in court today for his racketeering case and pleaded not guilty. The judge that’s handling his case set his trial date for September 4th, which means that Tekashi will be locked up probably for majority of that time.
Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, is still hopeful that he can get him out on bail. It was previously reported that Lance plans on going straight to the trial judge to apply for his bail. Tekashi’s initial bail request was denied, even after he offered to pay $750k and give up his passport and stay on house arrest.
In case you missed this tea, Tekashi’s 2 former associates, and his former manager have been locked up for about a week now on a slew of charges. Authorities say that Tekashi and his crew plotted to commit several crimes, from armed robberies, shootings, and drug deals.
