SINGER JACQUEES FORCED TO TAKE DOWN HIS REMIX OF ELLA MAI’S “TRIP”

“When the remix began receiving more attention than the original, Jacquees was forced to remove the track from YouTube and SoundCloud.” That’s the tea in the industry, suddenly things went left when T-Pain chimed in. A fan asked why T-Pain’s remix of Ella’s breakthrough hit “Boo’d Up” didn’t receive the same treatment, to which he responded, “Everybody be asking me why I don’t put my tmixes and shit on Spotify tidal and iTunes and shit. This is why.” He later added that he thinks Jacquees “tried to make money from it.”

What do you guys think? Should an artist not and try to make money off their own art? Also, is the record labels hating because Jac remix is catching more heat then the original song?
