HBO has renewed the very popular comedy from Issa Rae “Insecure” Rae, the creator and star of Insecure, announced the news on Twitter on Thursday. The renewal for Insecure comes midway through the current third season.

The green light for the show also comes not long after Rae broke into the Emmys race this season , landing a nomination for lead actress in a comedy series. The show which also stars Yvonne Orji , Lisa Joyce , Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales and Y’lan Noel, the show follows the friendship of two young black women as they deal with their own flaws while  attempting to navigate through different worlds and cope with an series of everyday experiences.
