CARDI B BREAKS MORE RECORDS…
Ever since Cardi’s rise to fame and major success with “Bodak Yellow” it seems as like cardi has been breaking records non stop. Since the releasing her album ” Invasion of Privacy” back in April cardi has really been on top.
Cardi is now expanding her list of accomplishments, the Recording Industry Association of America revealed that the every song on rapper’s debut album has been certified gold or higher. Not only is this an amazing accomplishment in and of itself, but this also makes her the very female rapper to have every song on an album get at least a gold certification from the RIAA.
The rapper took to instagram to share her excitement and to explain how this now adds pressure for upcoming sophomore album.
“BIG MOMMA BARDI !!! Im happy my album is amazing but I got sooo much pressure an anxiety cause I know I gotta kill with my second one,” she wrote in the caption to her Instagram post.
As for specifics: Bardi’s “Bodak Yellow,” has been certified platinum seven times, “I Like It,” which features J Balvin and Bad Bunny has been certified platinum five times, and “Bartier Cardi,” which features her (soon-to-be-ex?) husband Offset, is double platinum. Her tracks “Ring,” “I Do,” and “Drip” have all been certified platinum. Lastly, gold status is awarded to “Bickenhead,” “Money Bag,” “Get Up 10,” “Best Life,” “She Bad,” and “Thru Your Phone.”

Her nods include Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy, Song of the Year for her single “I Like It,” Best Rap Performance for her chart-topping single “Be Careful” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her feature on Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (Remix).”
You really can’t deny that 2018 was Cardi B’s year, and by the look of things, 2019 is going to be even bigger for her.
