Burger King Launches “Real Meals” in Support of Mental Health Awareness Month
In honor of and support of Mental Health Awareness Month, Burger King is launching a range of “Moody Meals.” Looking to encourage mental health awareness, the range of “Unhappy Meals” will include five different “expressions” on what are essentially adult Happy Meals without the toys: the Pissed Meal, Blue Meal, Salty Meal, Yaaas Meal and DGAF (Don’t Give a F—) Meal. Each meal will contain a Whopper, fries and a drink. The campaign also aims to spread awareness that it’s “OK to not be OK,” while the company press release reads, “Burger King restaurants understands that no one is happy all the time. That’s why they’re asking guests to order a Whopper meal based on however they might be feeling.”
Burger King’s “Real Meals” will be available for the month of May at select locations in Austin, Seattle, Miami, Los Angeles and New York City.
not sure who needed to hear this today, but it’s ok not to be happy all the time. all that matters is that you #FeelYourWay. https://t.co/vPmy1sT0cC pic.twitter.com/XmF0GvMjCg
