Jordan Brand will celebrate longtime ambassador Will Smith’s 50th birthday next week with a special retro sneaker that pays homage to one of its elite character episode. The Air Jordan 5 Retro NRG “Fresh Prince” gets its inspiration from Will’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air persona from 90’s TV show. 2013 Jordan brand did a new colorway concoction but this time around they went with the “Grape” look to add new flavor to an old style. Will Smith wore the  Jordan 5 sneakers without shoe laces so the company decided to immulate the lacesless look.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro NRG ” Fresh Prince” drops Tuesday September 25th 2018 for $190 US dollars from select Jordan Brand retailers. Happy 50th birthday to the Fresh Prince Will Smith.
