After 23 glamorous years of lingerie-filled runways, the 2019 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has been canceled, says one of its biggest stars. Model Shanina Shaik revealed the shocking style news.

“Unfortunately, the Victoria’s Secret Show won’t be happening this year,” the Angel said.

As for why the show is seemingly going on a hiatus, Shaik suggested to the outlet it may be because “they’re trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show.” The show has remained a highly anticipated event for many years with A-list models like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, strutting in racy ensembles. Past angels include Adriana Lima, Tyra Banksand Naomi Campbell.

The fashion show has also brought out legendary performers like Rihanna, The Weekend, Kanye West and Maroon 5. The news of the cancellation comes after it was revealed that the show may not be broadcast on television, breaking with the longstanding tradition.
