SANTIGOLD AND NAS DROPPED FROM LAURYN HILLS TOUR

Since the Legend Lauryn Hill’s announcement of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour, there has been a few discrepancies and technical difficulties. Originally set to include guest such as Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Asap Rocky, Dave East and more the tour has been hit with canceled dates and now Santigold and Nas has been dropped from the line up.

September 12 in Portland, Lauryn was scheduled to perform with Santigold and rapper Nas but the artist was dropped from the show with out any advanced notice.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also reported that Nas will not be appearing at the Oct. 5 show in St. Louis at the Chaifetz Arena. The New York rapper is also scheduled to appear with Hill on Oct. 3 in New Orleans, although it’s uncertain if that will still be happening. Nas also wrote on Twitter that he will be joining Hill in New Zealand in February 2019.

Lauryn Hill nor her team has yet to speak on these allegations. This is sort of unprofessional, but we have yet to hear a statement so I guess.  Santigold apologizes to her fans via twitter. Read Full tweets here https://twitter.com/santigold/status/1040768224470528001?s=21

This is just the latest controversy Hill has found herself in, after musician Robert Glasper accused the New Jersey rapper of stealing music for her debut album. Ms. Hill eventually shot down the claims in a piece penned for Medium, writing, “You may be able to make suggestions, but you can’t write FOR me. I am the architect of my creative expression. No decisions are made without me.”
