That’s it! Rihanna Confirms Issa Rae, creator and writer of HBO’s hit show “Insecure,” will host the fourth annual Diamond Ball and rapper Childish Gambino will perform. According to Page six, Rihanna’s black-tie event will take place Sept. 13 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. Rihanna started the Clara Lionel Foundation in honour of her grandparents. The foundation does a ton of good things for children around the world, through health, education and the promotion of arts and culture. According to Vogue, The foundation is working on including a global scholarship scheme, a centre for oncology and nuclear medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados and the Barbados micro grants initiative.

We are not sure what celebrities will be showing up, but we do know that the Diamond Ball has become momentous in New York, so there will be a lot of celebrities. Global Citizen Hugh Evans will be there for sure because he will be receiving this years Diamond Ball Award from Rihanna.
