Prada Accused Of Using Blackface Imagery In New Campaign

Prada is now  Scrambling To Remove “Sambo”  Monkey Trinkets From Website & Store Fronts After Social Media Backlash. Prada is being accused of using Blackface imagery in new campaign, as a result to all of the backlash Prada  will reportedly pull an animal charm and all related products  from its line.

A woman by the name of Chinyere Ezie, a staff attorney for the Center for Constitutional Rights, called attention to the design in a Facebook post. Ezie included images of Otto from the Pradamalia collection. The character on charms that are placed on bags, cardholders, phone cases, key chains, necklaces, T-shirts and other items reportedly shown on Prada’s website.
