Nicki Minaj has announced that she is removing herself from the BET Experience Concert schedule. This news comes as a response to a now-deleted tweet from the outlet, which captioned an article involving Cardi B‘s Grammy accolade for Best Rap Album with, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” Addressing the aforementioned post, Nicki Minaj retweeted a fan-sent screenshot of the tweet and also wrote, “Young Money will no longer be a part of the BET Experience or award show.”

In response, BET has sent out the following apology statement:

The BET Experience Concerts are scheduled to take place from June 20-22, and will precede the Bet Awards event on June 23.
